What is ICT?

Information and communications technology (ICT) simply refers to the cables and wires installed in a building to make electronics communicate and work. ICT is the reason your cellphone has a signal, your laptop gets Wi-Fi access and the sound system works at your favorite concert or sports venue—and that's just the beginning! People who have followed ICT career paths have worked on cabling for the Olympics, stadiums, airports, government buildings and much more.
